2. Using a web browser on your server, visit the SmarterStats download page and click the Primary download link for SmarterMail.
3. Run the download.
4. If you encounter a "publisher could not be verified" on this step, click Run.
5. On the first page of the installation wizard, click Next.
6. Read and accept the terms of the license agreement, then click Next.
7. Note that SmarterMail will be installed under Program Files > SmarterTools > SmarterMail. Click Next.
8. Click Finish.
9. A browser window will pull up with a message stating that SmarterMail is Initializing.
10. After initializing, the first step in the set up process will ask you to provide your SmarterMail License key, which you can locate on your SmarterBundle email. After entering your key, click Next.
11. Enter the Email Address and Password listed for you in your SmarterBundle email, then click Next.
12. Create an System administrator username and password, then click Next.
13. Enter the IP addresses for your Primary & Secondary DNS, which you set up in Chapter 2. Then click Next.
14. Note the SmarterMail Paths, then click Next.
15. If you would like to enable ClamAV (antivirus software) for your mail server, click the check box, then click Next.
16. Select a spam checking level, then click Next.
17. If you would like to enable Greylisting for your mail server, click the check box, then click Finish.
18. Your SmarterMail installation and initial setup is now complete. See Chapter 9 for instructions on how to run SmarterMail off IIS, which is recommended.
